For generations, Peruvian artisans have been hand-throwing Chulucanas pottery using the same methods—a remarkable tradition that dates back to the pre-Incan era. Our ecru and black Fatalla vase is made in Peru using that same craftsmanship to create its unique beauty. A meticulous, multi-day process involves firing the piece multiple times and smoking it in a special kiln to create its exquisite hatch pattern.
